Simon Boaler has recently joined QM Systems as a senior mechanical designer. Simon started his journey as an apprentice in the heat treatment industry. Since then, his role as a mechanical engineer has seen him employed across a wide range of sectors over the past 44 years. From working with robotic manufacturers, designing and overseeing welding systems and full automotive manufacturing lines, to working in the press industry.
Simon also had his own engineering business. He believes his ability to work under pressure, as well as design and build high quality machines will fit in well with our company.
Outside of work Simon is keen on industrial DIY. Having built his own eco house complete with natural stone and a heat recovery system. He also enjoys being outdoors and taking his two dogs on long walks.
