Tom Finn joined QM Systems last September as part of his gap year from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd university, studying electronic engineering.
We are thrilled to say he has been enthusiastic from the moment he started with us, Tom’s willingness to increase both his skillset and knowledge has been both noted and well received by the team. Being passionate to learn new concepts and methods, Tom has been able to fully commission a robot and write PLC code.
Within the past year we have seen continual development, with Tom assisting controls engineers with projects and also working as alongside lead controls engineers on some of our systems.
Tom returns to his studies in August, but we are so proud to have been present in the early part of his promising journey. All of us are very excited to see what the future has in store for such an impressive young engineer.
