The following system is to test, mark and sort a high-speed inductance coil which is used for sorting items, such as raw grains (rice, bran, corn) in the food industry. The coil itself can operate at 100Hz making it ideal for high speed applications. An operator loads a hot coil (circa 100 degrees centigrade) using special purpose gloves into a Poka-Yoke escapement which is designed to ensure the correct part is inserted as well as the correct orientation of the part. The coil then transfers through a special purpose magazine system with a combined Tick-Tok separation mechanism. The mechanism transfers individual parts onto a high temperature slat belt conveyor to be inductance tested and laser market before passing or failing accordingly.
