Another bespoke assembly system currently under development at Directech QM-Systems. This particular cell will be utilising the Staubli TX2-60 6-axis robot which has just been integrated into the system. The robot will be fitted with a universal vacuum picking head allowing it to pick multiple components from infeed magazines and place them into dual fixturing. The robot moves the components beneath a de- ionising air knife to remove any contaminants. The system utilises a Siemens PLC and HMI operator Interface.
